Monday, September 8, 2008 - 7:00 pm - My Left Hand

In 2004, 31-year-old Josh Isaac learned that epithelioid sarcoma, a rare, cancerous tumor initially found in the palm of his left hand when he was 25, had returned. Married with two young children and facing the loss of his hand, and, potentially, his life, Josh decided to document his emotional and spiritual journey through chemotherapy, radiation and, ultimately, amputation. A panel discussion and dessert reception will follow the film. Tickets are $5 in advance and can be purchased through http://www.brownpapertickets.com.

At Northwest Film Forum, 1515 12th Ave., Seattle
